What was planned as a long run last November 15 turned into something just as impactful—if not more. With steady rain rolling in, the REV* Club community at REV Alabang Town Center* shifted gears and transformed the day into a strength and conditioning session, proving that progress doesn’t stop when conditions change.
Powered by PRU Life UK, the session reflected the heart of REV*: adaptable, intentional, and grounded in smart training.
From Miles to Movement
Instead of logging long-run kilometers, participants focused on functional strength, mobility, and controlled movements designed to support better running performance. The workout emphasized:

Core stability and balance

Lower-body strength for durability

Mobility work to improve range of motion and reduce injury risk
By trading mileage for movement quality, runners were able to work on the often-overlooked building blocks that make strong, sustainable running possible.
Cross-Training with Purpose
Guided by Coach Enjay and the REV* pacers, the session flowed through strength circuits and conditioning drills that challenged both muscles and mindset. Each movement was chosen with runners in mind—supporting efficiency, resilience, and overall athleticism.
The rain became part of the experience, reinforcing an important lesson: consistent training is about showing up, even when plans change.
On Trialing Pairs, Rain or Shine
Despite the weather, On remained on-site with trialing pairs, giving runners the opportunity to experience their footwear and understand how it supports stability, comfort, and performance—even beyond traditional run sessions.
