SPEED, STRENGTH, AND SMARTER RUNNING: REV* 40-MINUTE INTERVAL SESSION AT ALABANG TOWN CENTER

Last November 8, the REV* Club community gathered at REV Alabang Town Center* for a focused 40-minute interval session designed to sharpen speed, improve efficiency, and build confidence—one controlled effort at a time.

Powered by PRU Life UK, the session brought runners together for structured training that balanced intensity with intention, proving once again that running smarter is just as important as running harder.

 


What the Session Looked Like

The workout centered on short, repeatable intervals—alternating bursts of faster-paced running with recovery segments. This format allowed runners to push beyond their comfort zones while maintaining proper form and pacing throughout the session.

Each interval served a clear purpose:

  • Build speed without burnout

  • Improve cardiovascular efficiency

  • Train the body to recover faster between efforts

Whether participants were new to intervals or seasoned runners refining their race preparation, the session offered a challenging yet approachable structure that met everyone where they were.

 

 



Trialing Pairs and New Launches

Adding to the excitement, On was on-site with trialing pairs, giving runners the chance to test performance footwear during the session and experience how different designs respond to speed work and recovery segments.

The run also marked the official launch of Vector at REV*, introducing the Vector Ascent Race Running Series to the community. Built for runners who value speed, precision, and purposeful design, the collection made its debut in a setting where performance truly matters—on the road, in motion, and under effort.

 

 

 


Coaching, Community, and Consistency

REV* coaches guided the group through warm-ups, pacing cues, and cooldowns, emphasizing the importance of listening to your body and running with control. The energy of the group made every hard effort feel lighter—proof that training is better when you’re surrounded by a supportive community.

From the first stride to the final cooldown, the session highlighted what REV* Club runs are all about: progress through consistency and connection.
